About

Serving the Western United States for all of your Drilling and Blasting Needs.

High Sierra Blasting is based in North Lake Tahoe and provides complete drilling and blasting services for residential and commercial construction, public works, road building, utility services and specialty projects such as ski resort expansion and railway maintenance.

High Sierra Blasting is experienced in the use of high explosives, low explosives and binary explosives. We also specialize in non-explosive rock breaking techniques for situations where there is no possibility of covering the shot, or where vibration or proximity to structures or buried utility lines will not allow the use of explosives.

High Sierra Blasting can drill and blast rock for projects of any scale. From driveways to highways and sprinkler systems to snowmakers at ski resorts, High Sierra Blasting is equipped for any job, large or small, on job sites from rock quarries to subdivisions. We also have light equipment available for remote areas with difficult access.

High Sierra Blasting can also provide blasting-only services, for jobs where the holes are already drilled. We also offer drilling-only services to load and shoot holes, anchor points in rock, or other applications where drilling is required in rock or concrete.
